The Renthal Apex combines All Mountain strength, Enduro stiffness, and XC-level weight in a highly engineered package. Its unique 240° handlebar clamp wraps around the bar to maximize support while allowing Renthal to remove material from the stem body without compromising strength or stiffness. Fully CNC-machined with an oversized center bore, extensive 3D machining, and external webbing, the Apex is optimized to maximize structural performance while keeping weight to a minimum.
The Apex is built from carefully selected aluminum alloys, with a forged and CNC-machined stem body and 7050 aluminum handlebar clamps. Its side-mounted steerer clamp creates a clean rear profile, while angled steerer clamp bolts provide efficient clamping and high clamping loads. The result is a lightweight, stiff, and exceptionally strong stem designed for modern mountain bikes and wide handlebars.
